Expedition Untouched Slopes

Date: March 10 - 14, 2027
Number of participants:
8 - 16
Goal:
To introduce ski touring in a safe and accessible way.

Whether you are new to ski touring or already have some experience, this trip is all about spending a few days in the mountains with a group of like-minded adventurers, led by a certified local mountain guide.

We will be staying in Arolla, Switzerland. This small, authentic mountain village is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful ski touring areas in the Alps. From Arolla, we will head out each day on a new route, in search of the best snow and the most stunning views.

We will spend three nights at the Hotel Kurhaus, a ski-in/ski-out hotel nestled among ancient alpine pines, right on the Haute Route. On the third night, we will trade the comfort of the hotel for a stay at altitude. We will take an overnight ski tour to the Cabane de Bertol, a spectacular mountain hut at an altitude of 3,311 meters, reached via fixed ladders. It is a true high-alpine experience, offering the silence and views you only find above 3,000 meters.

Whatever your level, your guide will lead the way and share their knowledge of safety, technique, and the best lines along the route. During this trip, you will not only discover the area but also develop your own skills and confidence in the mountains.
