Patrouille des Glaciers

 

The race is a grueling 53-kilometer course that starts in the village of Zermatt and goes over three mountain passes before finishing in Verbier. The participants are divided into teams of three, and they have to complete the course together, carrying all their equipment, including food, water, and emergency gear.

The Patrouille des Glaciers is not only a test of physical endurance but also a test of teamwork and navigation skills. The teams have to navigate through the mountains using only a map and a compass, and they have to work together to overcome the challenges of the course.
